Darling Diva The White Witch Haul

Darling Diva is one of my favorite indies and she recently released The White Witch Collection. It was created in honor of Stevie Nicks who played a cameo on The Coven. While I'm not a fan of Stevie Nicks, I love The Coven. She made 12 gorgeous holos - here are 6 of them.

Here is the custom she had made for me - It's called Merry Christmas Angela! I cried when I read the title. I'm going through a particularly hard time right now and this made me feel so special. Plus it's purple and a holo! Enough said :)

Ruby White Tips Mystery Box Review

I'm a sucker for mystery boxes. I noticed a listing on etsy called Mystery box that you will love. It described telling the polish maker you're favorite color and she will make you two polishes plus include a surprise. Sounds like a great deal so I bought it w/o hesitation. I chose purple.

Honestly, I don't love it. While the polishes are pretty - they aren't unique. No glitter, no holo - no nothing. I expected something more unique. Not feeling the necklace at all. 

The darker color is named Patagonia. It's a vampy purple. I'm going to keep it to use as a undie. Chloe is the other color. It's more pink than purple. I don't like pink. I know you take a chance when you buy a mystery box of anything but this was super disappointing as she had rave reviews.

I paid $12.75. While it's a great deal for 2 full size polishes, it's not a great deal if you don't like the polishes. You can find Ruby White Tips on etsy.

Its shifts blue, purple and red.

The Devil Wear Polish is a relatively new indie company. She has amazing holos - I own several but this is my first tried Devil.

Application is a bit on the thick side. Adding a couple drops of nail thinner would have easily solved it but I was too lazy to get up! I'll definitively add it next time. This polish is a bit spendy @ $15 but IMO, it's worth it. She frequently has sales and discounts and I was able to get mine 15% off.

Every single one is gorgeous - damn it!

I got 3 purple polishes (glitter, shimmer & holo) a blue glitter & a green holo.

It went up $1 so it's $6 each now. Will that deter me? Probably not :)

CrowsToes VooDoo Swatches & Review

VooDoo is a glitter bomb w/ orange, purple and green glitter in a clear base. It has all kinds of shapes - hexes, shards, squares and bars. This particular color is really thick so I used a few drops of nail thinner so it would be easier to work with - I like Orly.

I used Zoya's Purity as my undie.

I like a more sparse look to my glitter. This was such a pain! VooDoo is loaded w/ so much glitter, I had a really hard time getting it to look this way. My left hand looks awful!

Hit Polish Nail Lacquer - Raspberry Cabaret

Buried in Beauty Boxes is going through a change. I'm not buried anymore - I only subscribe to Glossy Box and Glitter Daze (which expires next month - not renewing) now. After being introduced to indie nail polishes - I've become nuts. I've acquired about 150 bottles of indies since July. Yep. Yikes!

Raspberry Cabaret is such a gorgeous color with it's fuschia, pink and purple glitters. Again, I don't like pink! But I love it so much, I got a full size :)

Anastasia Hyper Color Brow & Hair Powder - Ultra Violet Review

I love the look of hair chalk but I have super dark black hair. I am been super envious of those w/ blonde & light brown hair. Anastasia Beverly Hills claims that their hyper color hair powder works on all hair colors. 

It comes in 4 colors - ultra violet, mega watt green, teal tornado, electric blue. I got ultra violet @ Ulta for $12.50

As you can see, it actually showed up! 

It's so easy to use. You first "prep" your hair w/ styling cream, styling wax or leave in conditioner. I used styling cream.

You then "sandwich" your hair in between your fingers or a cosmetic sponge & the hyper color - glide the color on. Set w/ hairspray. It works better if you use your fingers - wear gloves.

It's super messy. Wear a dark shirt when applying because the color gets everywhere. 

The verdict - While I'm happy that it showed up, the color lasted less than 2 hours. You use up a lot, I hit the pan using it one time. It gets all over your hands & shirt. 

I wouldn't buy this again. If the color lasted longer, I would buy one in every color.

Illamasqua's Intense Lip Gloss in Fierce.

If I could only have one lip gloss or stick for the rest of my life, it would be this one. 

It's described as a bright blue purple. I LOVE it. It's glossy but not sticky.

I wear this all the time - it's me in a tube.

I almost forgot!

Now this is a purple! I've ordered so many "purple" lipsticks & glosses that are more berry than purple. Not this one, it's purple! It's not a look I rock everyday but I still love it. I'm a sucker for almost anything purple.

One small swipe of Illamasqua's Kontrol Lipstick - it's got some serious pigment.

Urban Decay - Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Apocalypse. Another favorite of mine. It's loaded w/ pigment, it's super glossy & easy to use.

It's described as a deep plum.

Little Black Bag

I finally caved. After months & months of resisting, I just couldn't hold out any longer. Opened my first bag on LBB. I then proceeded to open up 6 more bags within 2 weeks. I can see why people get so addicted. I had to cancel all my accounts :(

I love, love, love this Olivia + Joy bag. Its this cool gunmetal color & its super soft. And its huge. I'm tempted to carry around one of my cats in it.
