I've been lazy posting my LOTD (lips of the day) pics. Hubby has today off so I've been enjoying a 3 day weekend w/ the boys.

Zoya - Hot Lips in Foxy. It's described as a glossy lip balm in shimmering copper gold.

Meh. Not my favorite.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Black Dahlia. Be careful w/ this one - I got some lip tar outside my lip line & it stained my skin. Very pigmented.

It's described as a blackened red but shows up as berry on me.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Toundra
My hubby is a photographer. I asked him to take these photos & I regret it now because his pics are so good, you can see every flaw I have. Yikes! Lips are super dry here like usual :)

It's described as a metallic burgundy. It's pretty but makes my lips even drier than they already are.

Happy New Year!

 

I have one resolution this year - it is to stay in the present moment. I feel that my relationships & experiences will be more meaningful if I concentrate on what's going on at this moment. And this moment. You get the picture. I get distracted easily & noticed that I sometimes pay more attention to the TV than on what hubby is saying. Yikes! I don't know if it's going to help but I'm willing to give it a go.

 

I'm doing something new this month - posting a lipstick/gloss look everyday for a month. This will force me to use my stash and hopefully keep me away from being tempted to buy more.

 

Day 1 - Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Super NSFW

 

This just came out last month. Hubby kindly gave this to me for Christmas. I made sure he understood that I wanted Super NSFW, not NSFW.

 

 

It's described as a gold laced red. I only had to use a tiny dot to "paint" my lips. It comes w/ a mini lip brush.

 

 

It looks more pink than red here but the gold shows up better.
