Ipsy - May

Ipsy did something new this month - they personalized our bags. Everyone got a full size Zoya polish & a concealer from Yaby. The other 3 products are supposed to be matched to our profiles. Some people were super lucky & got a full size Urban Decay moondust eyeshadow. I wasn't lucky but that's ok.

ZOYA - Lacquer in Blu Full Size $8
Juice Beauty - Reflecting Gloss in Champagne
Pacifica - Roll on Perfume in Tahitian Gardenia Full Size $12
Yaby - Concealer in Buff
Nume - Finishing Serum

Other variations: Juice Beauty reflecting gloss in fig or pink. Mirabella glimmer gloss. Mirabella colour sheer lipstick in pixie, posy, charmed or daydream. Pacifica roll on perfume in island vanilla. Pacifica luminizing body butter or bronzing butter. Macadamia healing oil hair treatment. Anastasia brow gel.
Mirabella perfecting powder.

I love zoya but I don't love pastels...at all! I traded it for a lipstick. The concealer from Yaby may be too light for me but I haven't tried it yet. It looks super creamy. I love Pacifica but perfume is not my friend. My mom will love it though. I got a gorgeous nude reflecting gloss from Juice Beauty. It smells like oranges! And a finishing serum for Nume. I will be honest - I hate Nume. Their products are filled w/ sulfates & parabens.

Juice Beauty - Champagne

So many killer brands and products this month! Every month, there are sales and promos from the brands being featured that month.

I couldn't resist this glimmer gloss from Mirabella. The shade is called Shimmerati, it's a gorgeous ruby red gloss. Ok, I only bought it because I like the packaging. Can't resist  I also got a sheer lipstick in the shade pixie. The gloss is on sale for $16 (previously $24). The sheer lipstick is $22. With code IPSY50, I was able to get the lipstick & glimmer gloss for half off.

Mirabella Colour Sheer Lipstick in Pixie
I love this! It's super moisturizing like a balm w/ a pop of color.
Very tempted to get more!

Pixie & Shimmerati

I got a killer deal @ Pacifica

Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes
Color Quench Lip Tint - Sugared Fig & Blood Orange
Blood Orange Roll On Perfume
Hawaiian Ruby Guava Solid Perfume
Blood Orange Candle
Hawaiian Ruby Guava Candle
Indian Coconut Nectar Solid Perfume Mini
Brazilian Mango Grapefruit Solid Perfume Mini

I LOVE these. I already bought more. They smell amazing! And it doesn't irritate my skin at all.

Color Quench Lip Tints.
They have fat tubes & skinny tubes labeled w/ the same colors. I already have a few of the fat tubes so  I went w/ the skinnier ones.

Skinny Sugared Fig
Skinny Blood Orange
Fat Blood Orange
Fat Coconut Nectar

As you can see, the colors differ somewhat. The skinny blood orange is more pigmented and the fat blood orange is more red. I'm actually really digging these new skinny tubes. I went back & ordered 2 other colors. These are perfect for me. I have super dry lips & this makes them look moisturized and I love the hint of color.

They sell samples of their solid perfume for $2 each. You get a free one of you spend $25 (2 if you spend 50). The guava and grapefruit one smells amazing. Not feeling the indian coconut nectar which is weird because I usually love coconut.

I used code Beauty20 to get 20% off. I used code Freequench25 (free sugared fig lip tint on orders $25+). I also used a 10% off code that Pacifica emailed me after I joined up for a account and left items in my shopping cart. You can also used code Alight for a free bb sample. Shipping is free @ $50 And yes, you can stack the promo codes!

ZOYA!

I used code Ipsyz to get 2 of these free (buy 2, get 1 free). It also came w/ a 1 oz plus nail polish remover & 5 shipping.

B-day Haul - Illamasqua & Melie Bianco

A year older. Meh.

I've been eyeing this hobo bag from Melie Bianco for months.
I LOVE it!

Illamasqua!

Tweak & Excite Powder Blushes

Tweak - strawberry red
Excite - coral
Excite is one of my favorite Illamasqua's blush.
Morale (not pictured) is another favorite.

Crush Cream Blusher & Thrust Powder Blusher

Crush - deep raspberry red
Thrust - magenta

Crush - deep raspberry red
Thrust - magenta

I officially have all the powder blushers of theirs that I wanted.
I'm digging the cream blusher - may have to try a few other colors.

Lipstick in ESP
From their new Paranormal Line - Sephora doesn't even have these in stock yet.

It's described as vivid violet
I LOVE it!

Their new blush up brush. It's designed to tuck directly under cheekbone. What a huge difference! I've been wearing my blush wrong this entire time! I've been wearing it too low. It's pricey @ $40 but worth every penny if you are a blush addict like me.

Gypsy Rose Creations

Look at what my bestie sent me!

This gorgeous Earth Sprite Necklace!

She makes these gorgeous pendants out of clay. I love the boulder opal she used - it has flashes of purple, red and blue. This is a grounding piece that helps you reconnect w/ mother nature.

She custom made this wire wrapped pendant for my pelvic pain. She believes in the healing powers of gemstones & creates pieces w/ a purpose - to help heal.

StarLooks StarBox - April

My favorite time of the month - Star Looks! I am so in love w/ this sub. For only $15 a month, you get 3-4 full size items. It's a makeup only sub and their quality is incredible.

April's Goodies
Translucent Mineralized Powder $19
Sensation Mascara Primer $15
Tendergloss Lipstick in Basic $11
Bonus
Mint Lip Balm $5

I'm most excited to try this powder. I've been needing something like this. I wear bb cream but I still get shiny. The poof is so soft & velvety.

Tendergloss Lipstick in Basic.
It's a nudey pink shimmer.
Pretty - I like it.

The mascara primer seems awesome. Not only is it a primer & thickener but it also helps your lashes grow. I have a small bald spot on one of my eyebrows...I wonder if it will work for brows?  I'm going to try it & report back.

Another awesome month! What do you think?

Ipsy - April

I caved and signed back up. After seeing the blush spoiler, I couldn't resist.

Pretty in Pink
Be A Bombshell - Blush in Beach Please Full Size
Mica Beauty - Shimmer Powder in Earth Deluxe Sample
Sation - Nail Lacquer in Love At First Byte Full Size
Healthy Sexy Hair - Soy Renewal Styling Treatment Deluxe Size

I LOVE the blush! I got beach please which is a matte hot pink.
I'm wearing it today - it's pigmented but no so much that you need to use a light hand.

I'm excited to try the soy renewal.
It's supposed to help frizz which I have a abundance of.

I'm trading the earth shimmer powder.
It's a pretty color but I have zero room for more shadows.
I'm forcing myself to get rid one if I want another.

Not loving the polish. I prefer dark or bright colors.

Overall, a great bag! The blush alone retails for $16

You can get a similar bag here for $10 a month

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Bzz Report

Thanks to Bzz Agent and Garnier Fructis - I was given the opportunity to try Garnier Fructis Miracle Dry Oil.

I love that's its a multipurpose product that can be used on your skin, hair and face.
It has a combination of 3 oils - shea, avacado and olive oil. It retails for $5.99 and can be found at Target and Walmart.

It works wonders for my long, thick and very frizzy hair. It works better if you spray it in your hands and then apply to hair. I found that spraying it directly on your hair made it appear oily. A little goes a long way and it absorbs quickly.

I love spritzing this on shaved legs after I've showered. Since it instantly absorbs, my skin stays soft through out the day.

The Balm - Instain Blush Swatches - Lace, Toile and Pinstripe

The Balm revamped their website & reopened April 1st w/ a 50% off sale. The site crashed quickly. It's still not up!

Anyway, I got lucky & was able to view their website through a back door link. I only wanted to see their new 6 instain blushes but after seeing them, I couldn't resist. I LOVE blush. I wanted to order all 6 but I was good and got 3. I was only good because hubbster was sitting right next to me - ha ha.

I got pinstripe - a shimmery plum. Toile is a gorgeous strawberry color and lace is bright pink. These blushes are a stain in powder form. They also have argyle (petal pink), houndstooth (mauve) and swiss dot (peach) . These retail for $22 each.

Toile

Lace

Pinstripe

Toile, Lace & Pinstripe

There is some serious pigment in these instain blushes. Surprisingly, pinstripe is the most pigmented of the 3. I love the color - it's gorgeous. Toile and pinstripe are hard to blend - I suspect lace is the same way. I have toile on one cheek and pinstripe on another - I couldn't chose!

I don't know when their site will be back up again. They are going to announce their re-opening on their facebook page. They are supposed to have a 24 hour 50% off sale upon re-opening. Bad news - all the instain blushes are on back order until May :(

UPDATE 4/8
The site is back up!
